SHOW LINEUP & TECH SCHEDULE

TECH REHEARSAL SCHEDULE – 1:30-4:10 pm (posted June 2)
If you have any problem with your tech time or any other questions or concerns, please let us know by JUNE 10 so we have adequate time to respond and make changes as needed.
Important Performer Info
Check-in at the front of house table at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tech time to give you adequate time to sign the show waivers, hand in remaining tickets and cash from ticket sales, request reserved seating for mobility impaired guests, etc.
Backstage amenities include a locker room (bring your own lock), a dressing room with makeup stations, and a performer’s lounge. If you are not actively getting ready, please use the lounge area so that the limited dressing room area does not get too crowded.
There is a designated quiet zone near the stage entrances/dressing rooms; during the show, please keep those areas quiet and use the lounge for conversation, last-minute rehearsal, etc.
Backstage areas will be available to performers between the tech rehearsal and the show; the theatre, however, will be locked during that time.
Performer call time for the show is 6:30 pm. Please be backstage and ready if you perform in the first half of the show (or plan to participate in the Tribal Gratitude Meditation to start the show).
Ticket holders will have priority for all seating. Dancers may NOT reserve seats for themselves and can only be seated on the sides if there is space available. If you have family or friends with mobility issues, please contact us ahead of time or at tech rehearsal to reserve their seats. Take advantage of tech rehearsal to watch your fellow dancers perform.
Darcy is tech rehearsal manager.
Cheryl is our show runner.
Adrienne will handle props.
ALL DANCERS must have a current RAMED membership and sell at least ONE TICKET, so we have an audience.
RAMED is very happy to announce that all applications for Arabian Fantasy 2019 have been accepted!! If your application included a special request, you will be contacted directly with specifics.
CALL FOR DANCERS
RAMED members, it’s time to finalize that choreography or settle on the piece of music you will improvise to at RAMED’s Arabian Fantasy Show on June 16, 2019.
To perform in the show, just follow the two steps below:
- Fill out the application form by May 19, 2019 – CLOSED
- Send your music to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 2, 2019
The show will consist of about 90 minutes of dancing plus an intermission. Selection criteria if there are too many applicants: variety of styles, variety of solo/duet versus groups, length of performance, number of times a dancer performs.
TWO PERFORMANCES PER DANCER (SOLO/DUET or GROUP) with more considered as time permits
SOLO/DUET allowed up to 4 minutes; GROUPS allowed up to 6 minutes unless you have already made prior arrangements with the Events Coordinator (including entrance and exit music – we will not be editing or adding to music in any way)
The stage is ~30’W x 32’D with audience on three sides. The theater is black with a black curtain. There are two entrances for dancers from the back sides of the stage area.
If you have any questions or are having trouble with the application form, please contact us.
