RAMED’s AGM is going virtual!
The remainder of the meeting documents have been sent to all members.
There are THREE VANCANCIES to fill on our Board for 2021 and two current Board members who will renew their terms. Please consider volunteering and/or nominating someone to fill these vacancies. Email us your questions and/or if you’re interested/would like to nominate someone.
Board Members meet virtually once per month for ~2 hours. Each Board Member has a role to play in helping to support instruction and performance of belly dance in Regina and the surrounding area. It is a fun, rewarding experience and a great way to meet other dancers in the community!
Sun, November 6, 2016 from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Cathedral Neighbourhood Centre, 2900 – 13 Avenue, Regina
RSVP below by Nov 4 so we know how much food to get (with any allergies/intolerances).
Come dine, dance, and discuss RAMED business for a delightful afternoon with the Board. There will be an area to swap/sell your gently used costumes, accessories, music, etc. A drop-box will also be set up to collect your suggestions for a workshop instructor for the Pro show in fall of 2017.
Your RAMED Board has been working hard this summer to put our house in order. We have extended everyone’s current membership till December 31, 2016 to better serve the dance community. All members will be sent the documents to be discussed at the meeting by October 22, 2016. Please review them ahead of time so we can keep the business portion of the afternoon to an hour. We are also looking for a couple new Board Members to join our ranks. We meet for a couple hours once a month, details will be provided along with meeting documents if you’d like to join us to help organize these fun events for the Regina and area dance community.
Bring your music (on CD or electronic device with adapter) and perform a choreography you’ve been working on or just dance to whatever is playing. Let’s get together and have a great time. Hope to see you all there.
* Hafla is a belly dance party with food and dancers taking turns performing for each other and/or some open-floor dancing for everyone to get up and enjoy the music.
Afternoon of Sunday, November 6, 2016
Details will follow shortly.
